This is a bad control board that if replaced will only repeat in a short time .My advice is to contact the manufacturer and complain, you have the right as a consumer to do so.

Kitchenaid KSRS25 Ice dispenser blades get stuck

Greetings,
In looking up this partial model # KSRS25, it shows you have
the model with the large ice bin inside the freezer.
My question to you is: Does the auger motor run when you
push the ice lever?
2 trouble prone parts on this model. Both in the case of NO
auger motor activation.
#1 broken pin that hold the micro-switch on to the switch bracket.
Item # 15

Next #2 and the Worst, A Broken Blue wire or wires in the wire loom
under the freezer door hinge. Un-repairable new door needed if still
available.. You have to get creative restoring the power.
So before I continue, Does the Auger motor Run?
And if it does, remove the bin and close the door switch that turns the
light off, and tape switch shut. With door open and ice cradle pushed
in watch the auger drive fork turn? Is the the key hole stripped in the
fork.(rounded out) May need the fork or motor. #9 & #2

LE on display

I just had my LG dishwasher fixed. I told the repair man that LE light was comming on. Even over the phone the repairman said its probably broken wires on the door. Me being in construction for years looked around the door for wires. Anyway the repairman took off 6 screws around the door, took the cover off. You will see about 50 wires taped together. He pulled them aside and visually checked them one by one. Sure enough two were broken in two. He twisted them together put tape and he was gone. $87.50 Still Working!

The motor makes a weird whirring loud noise but the gears seem to be turning still the arms are still turning and the water is going in fine it seems to be any time the dishwasher is on and in any cycle....

So it turns out that it was the disposer blades right behind the motor that were causing the problem. I took the filter off of the drain and found I had a piece of glass and a plastic army man gun trapped in the filter to the drain that the blades were hitting and stuck on. I took them out made sure the blades spun freely and then replaced the filter. It works as good as new!

The pump motor seems to be jammed on my GE Model GSD2000j I was gone for a few months and it stuck on the 1st wash when I returned. The motor will not turn freely and is buzzing and heating up . Can I free...

Dishwasher motors are susceptible to getting stuck if not used regularly. Manually spin the motor to free it up. Dishwasher motors are not serviceable and must be replaced if found defective. But try to access the bushings/bearings and put a few drops of lubricant then spin it manually to free it up.

My dishwasher won't actually turn on this morning. When I push the start button, it hums, and the lights by the cycles flash, for about two minutes, but it won't actually run through a cycle.

Your motor is probably stuck.
Remove power from the D/W.
Remove the lower access panel. The motor will be in front of you.
Turn the blades in the end of the motor counterclockwise until the motor turns freely. You will need a flat screwdriver to reach in and turn the blades.
When it frees, repower and try it again.

Blades won't turn

If the problem is that the blades are jammed and you can't turn them manually, you can let it sit ( and dry out ) for a few days, or you can try adding some oil. I had the same problem and this worked. My problem now is that the blades don't reach to where the motor is turning, so even if they're not jammed the don't turn. If anyone knows and answer to this I'd appreciate it.

Stuck motor?

bert, to get to the sump and chopper assy. First remove the lower spray arm by holding the top tab and turning the spray arm off. Next grab a hold of the rear feed and turn it to the right until it unsnaps from the rear feed assy. Now you remove the filter and accumulator assy. It has torq screws, remove and lift off. Now the chopper cover will be on the left, one torq screw and it will lift off exposing the chopper blade. This is probably where it's jammed. Look at the attached pics. It will help you. Catriver.
