I own a Kenmore Elite Trio, purchased in Summer 2007. Model Number 795.77543600
I have the error message ''ER DH'' appearing on the screen. At first I had the error ''ER FF'' appearing, but after defrosting the unit I am now dealing with the ''ER DH'' message.
I have purchased the controller assembly part from Sears: # 6615JB2005H per information found on this website, but now my problem is that I have no clue how to access the panel in the bottom freezer to get to the controller assembly.
Any help in instructing me how to access the location of the controller assembly is greatly appreciated. The freezer seems to only have one smaller panel in the rear, but none on the sides. And I have yet to figure out how to dismount the track for the drawers
I'm a 27 year old girl who knows she take on the task and would much rather buy a pair of lizard skin heels than pay to have a service guy come and do it.

This is a refrigerator manufactured by LG and is well known for this type of malfunction. There should be two 1/4 inch screws on the outside of the freezer drawer tracks near the front that will allow you to pull out the entire door assembly. Once this is done and the unit is fully defrosted and unplugged, there are a couple/few screws in the back freezer panel. Once the panel is removed, this part is located on the upper right side of the evaperator coils. It is sometimes wedged in tigtly but should pull out with a good tug. Unplug the white harness, remove defective part and reverse this process. Good luck and happy shopping for the shoes.

With the help of this and other sites I was able to fix my error fairly easily ..I wrote a step -by-step HERE...Hope it helps some.. Was alot cheaper then a service call !
The Er DH error code indicates the temperature sensor on the evaporator coil did not reach 50 degrees within one hour. This would indicate the control board did put the refrigerator through a defrost cycle.
This problem could be caused by a defective relay on the control board, a defective defrost heater, a broken wire to the heater, or a stopped up drain on the defrost pan causing ice to form on the evaporator coil.
Before replacing the control board, someone should remove the food from the freezer, remove the freezer drawer, and remove the evaporator cover to expose the evaporator coil, heater, and defrost sensor. The voltage to the defrost heater should be 120 volts ac. The defrost heater is part of the evaporator coil and is not replaceable as a separate part.
You can test the operation of the defrost system by pressing "Ultra Ice" and "colder freezer temp" for 3 seconds. The first time you press and hold the buttons the board will test the compressor, fan, and open the damper.
All displays should be on.
The second time you press and hold the buttons the board will test the compressor, fan, and close the damper.
The third time you press and hold the buttons, the board will turn the compressor and fan off and turn the defrost heater on for around 25 minutes. This would let you know if the defrost system is working.

You said, your Kenmore Elite Trio, model 795.7756 or 7757 has an error message
simply reading ER IF. No pressing of buttons, or combination thereof
changes anything. Also, the ice maker has stopped working although it
is turned on. Can anyone help? I cannot pull the refrigerator out to unplug and reboot it, thus I don't know what to do.
Try tripping the breaker off for 5 minutes and then see if this method resets the system? Do not turn it back on for at least tree minutes. That's why I said, Five!!!
Lets see how it resets while I look your fridge up. Write back. Huuum 7:11 pm eastern standard time . I'm here!
This is an error code that pertains to the evaporator motor but could also be the main board. If the evaporator motor is running, the main board will probably need to be replaced. It could be a wiring problem but it's not very likely.
If the motor is not running, some voltage checks will need to be made, at the motor and board, to determine which component has failed. These checks require a meter and can be difficult to make, even for a technician.

I faced the same problem for Kenmore elite Trio Model # 795.77543600 bottom freezer refrigerator. The issue as pointed out by Medeer on fixya.com, turned out to be the part called component assembly, part number 6615JB2005H. I got this replaced yesterday but for 4 hours I did not notice any cooling... so I thought it did not work.... but then in the morning I notice that the issue has been resolved, the refrigerator is cold and there is no eR dH error message. Thanks to all who shared on this site.
