If the cracked portion is on the cable then you need to get the cable recrimpted with another connector. You can do this yourself but this needs a special tool. Ask your cable provider to get the proper connector reapplied.
Take it to any TV repair shop. They'll solder things up so they work. It may not look as cute, but it'll work. Look in the yellow pages. If it's the cable modem you're talking about, contact your provider, they'll replace it at a price.
It can be soldered back on. With that particular model, I don't know if the connector is connected to the tuner or if there is a litte square anteena box which then feed a cable to the tuner.
If the connector end is not damaged and the tuner circuit board is not broken, you can solder this back onto tuner, and solder the end back on the circuit board. You should take the tuner out to do this proceedure. A TV shop usually charges $50.00 to do this.
Sanyo has support for their products. You will have to find out who the authorised service rep is in your area. They may have to change the tuner module if the connector is part of the tuner if there is a lot of internal damage. Some models of sets have a secondary module outside of the tuner where the connector is mounted. This would be lower in cost to service.
Unless you are experienced in TV service, I do not suggest that you try to service this yourself.
Let me guess you have broken off your I.F connector ,this is what you connect your cable to on the back of your set,if this is what you are talking about ,you will need to try and repair IF connector or replace your turner.sometimes when this piece is broken off turner is also damaged, there for you have to replace turner.
Was the block a cube about 1" ? You should be able to salvage one from an old tv. This block is used to isolate the antenna/cable from the "hot" chassis inside your tv. If you should find a used block ,make sure it does this. If you get one that gives you a direct connection to the chassis, your antenna/cable connector would give you a shock and probably burn out something in your tv when the cable is connected.
Some of the Sanyo's have this connector made on to the tuner. If this is the case you'd have to either put a new coax connector in the tuner OR replace the tuner.
