Hi. I really need help with the default database on this MP3 player. I accidentally deleted all the data with a MacOS reformatting action, and I cannot turn the player on anymore, since when I do it it just tell me FORMAT ERROR and turn automaticly off. I tried to reset it, or to download the firmare update, but since I deleted everything with the formatting action on my iMac the Windows cannot detect the MP3 anymore... Eww, my English it's terrible, I hope I was clear. Anyway what I need is the normal, default database that is on every NWZ-B135 player for download it, turn it on properly and reset. Well, I hope it works... Help! =3
To upgrade the firmware, you need to download the firmware from here: http://support.sony-europe.com/dna/downloads/firmware/firmware.aspx?site=odw_en_GB&m=NWZ-B135&f=FRM_NWZ_B13x_f after downloading, run it and then connect the player to system while holding the "volume -" button...it should be detected and the firmware would be restored.
