1. Is the card supported by the card read?
2. Have you install/uninstall any software recently?
3. Is there any red or yellow alert in your device manager? If so, go an check if it is card reader related.

Make sure the card is inserted correctly. I took mine out and inserted it the other way and the reader worked. The card can be inserted either way (bad move on product developer) so make sure you try both ways....

Can not get pictures off of camera. Have downloaded the snap n share software. it says that the save is completed but when I open the folder the pictures are not there.

If your camera has a removable card, I suggest you get an external card reader (starting as low as $5) and remove the card from the camera and transfer the images from the camera card to the computer directly

My computer cannot find the driver for my Digital Concepts Card Reader/Writer Model CR-72. I cannot find anywhere that I can download the driver. It wsays that it is plug and Play. I found many sites that...

This is the vendor driver/support page for your unit. The only driver they have is for 98SE which usually means that the card reader should be plug n play in Windows. You may want to try the card reader in another usb slot and put a memory card into it so Windows can better identify it. Post your results back here.

Unable to take pictures from card /writer to computer

Once you have inserted your memory card in the reader, usually after a few seconds a dialog box will ask you if you want to open the pictures, copy them, etc. If not, you might have to manually check the drive letter assigned to the card by examining the drives under windows explorer. Once you have figured this out, you can copy the files from the card to your PC

Write protected error using Sandisk card in Digital Concepts CR-75 Reader

Try a different reader if you can - laptops comes with an SD reader sometimes. Or take it to a computer store or possibly radio shack would have one open to test.

Or just replace the card - 1gb cards are $20 now.
