- It was from the bottom of the door, and I believe it was just soap. I wiped it up so fast I honestly can't be sure. However when my daughter opened the door she stated that there was only suds in there, no water. Hope this helps. ThanksClarification Request

Out of the bottom of the unit or out of the bottom of the door? Was it pure soap or soap and water?

It sounds like a door leak. There isn't a whole lot of water in the bottom of a dishwasher so it may just have looked like soap. Open the door and using a bright flashlight check the rubber seals carefully. Look for any torn or out of place gasket material. I think you will find that you need to have the gasket replaced which is not all that expensive.
