Generic problem for all Camcorders

JVC-GRD31U Says ''Lens Cap'' No image.

No image through the camera. Camera thinks the lens cap is on. Everything works. (playback, etc.) Just no image recorded or viewable through the camera.

It is known problem of bad ccd imager in JVC GR-D31U camcorder that gives Lens Cap error and JVC will replace ccd imager free of cost.
