HI, First remove mat from TT platter. Next hold it with upward pressure while striking centre pin with a sharp tap, (real light instrument) not blow. Next you will see the motor shaft (once TT is removed) note it's position, put belt back onto TT rim, that will be the underside flange, lift belt by one finger away from flange edge and place TT back over spindle while having finger with belt over motor shaft. allow belt to contact with motor. Now belt should be around under platter flange and around motor pulley. If this is correct, power up, if all works replace soft mat and enjoy the music. A word of warning, the belt and stylus/cartridge may need replacement!

Runs at uneven speed. Drive band came off of the table. How is it supposed to be installed? Is the drive band supposed to be looped around the brass spinning post somehow? When it is just put up on the drive post the turntable runs too fast. Thanks
