The drive may have encountered a safe power off problem. There are
several things to try. In My Computer, click on Tools/Map Network Drive
and see if you're able to assign the external drive a new letter. If
successful, you should be all set, if not the drive may need to be
reformatted. Prior to reformatting, you can recover your data. Click on
the link below:
Date Recovery
this link is a freeware program that is designed to recover lost data
or data not recognized by your computer. Once installed, you should see
the external drive and be able to recover the data. Once all the data
is recovered, you are free to reformat the drive to make it
recognizable by your machine again. Best of luck.

Hi,
Sorry but you didn't link to the Same problem but if your Cruzer is not showing up on your computer, you will likely need the help of a pro, if it is but is showing up as blank or you accidentally deleted some file I can walk you through a cheap way to do it yourself.
Respond back with your location if you need a pro include Country, State and City. If you need the DIY solution respond back and let me know and I will give you some tricks to try but please include more info about the problem so I can be sure I'm not giving you inappropriate advice.
Hope this helps FixYa,
Chris
Yes,
But it's not free....
These drive once damaged are very deilicate and I never recommend a do-it-yourself attempt as it has a greater chance of destroying the data than getting it back.
There are several professional data recovery companies I can refer you to if you'de like.
Reply back with you Country, State and City and I direct you to a nearby facility.
