Question about Optoma RD50 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Replaced Bulb about 2 months ago thinking it was bad as it has 8000 hours on it and it was telling us it needed replaced. It was doing this flashing then to. So now 2 months later it has started to do it again. I can tuen it off for awhile and then back on and it is fine. It almost looks like and out of convergence bright white xray flash on the screen. Don't know how else to describe it. One more note. We replaced bulb but not complete board assy. Help!
Hello! Just a little additional info if you will on what might to expect. This is according to the repairman where my tv is still in the shop after almost 2 wks because of the need for parts: other than the lamp the only place to get other parts (ballast and color wheel) is from Optoma and if yu need the color wheel you will have to purchase the entire assembly ($999.99) because they do not sell it separately. If anyone knows differently please let me know for I am between a rock (not really) and a hard place.
