Search youtube, there are several walktroughs.

Generally the below screws have to be all removed and then the keyboard (small security buttons on the top of the keyboard) and carefully removing it watching not to damage the flex cable and pry the top cover to unclick. Then the insides should be easily exposed.

Toshiba satellite laptop a105 series. keyboard needs to be replaced Please tell me how to do it thanks in advance Paul

Hello there Paul:
This is a fairly easy process.
First if you look right above the keyboard you will see a plastic strip going across the top.
Get a very small flat tip screwdriver and pry this piece up and remove the strip
Now you will see 3 small phillips head screws remove them and do not loose the clip now just lift up on the keyboard and it will come out
But do not pull out too far their is a wire connection that you need to disconnect.
now you are done now just hook up the wire to the new keyboard and slide it pack in place and reinstall the 3 screws and the clip and then the plastic strip over the top and you have completed the process well done.
I hope that this is very helpfull for you
Best regards Michael

How do I replace the keyboard?

next to the F1 key and the windows key (2nd upper key and second to last key) are two screws, usually under some covering. unscrew and lift top edge of the keyboard towards the trackpad to lay face down. Undo the wire ribbon by lifting the grey or brown tabs and remove ribbon and keyboard. Then install the new keyboard by inserting the ribbon on the place. Lock down with the tabs and put the plastic prongs (close to the space bar) into the laptop body first, and then close keyboard onto the final position. screw back in and thats all. nboulikas@gmail.com for any additional questions.

Spilled a little rum on the corner right side of the laptop and now had to get an external keyboard because the laptop keyboard types multple letters and numbers when keys are pressed.

If that is the case you can purchase a new keyboard off ebay for $20, remove the screws holding it (will either be underneath laptop or right above keyboard) and replace.
