-   My Acqua Indiglo only has one button (not a digital) and like the others, I can't figure how to change the date. The stem only seems to work on the clock hands. -   Guest

I can't seem to adjust the date on my Acqua watch. I can set the time by turning the stem but nothing seems to work to get the date to change. Any suggestions?

My watch has 4 buttons (2 on the left, 2 on the right) plus the "Indiglo" button. Use the "Mode" button (lower left) to move between the time and the stopwatch. When seeing the stopwatch, hold the "Mode" button. This will get you to the alarm setting mode. Press the "Mode" button again to switch to the time setting mode. Use the "Start/Stop" button (upper right) to move from seconds > minutes > hour > date > day of week. Use the "Spl/Reset" button (lower right) to change the numbers.

Press and hold button 2 when the clock shows; this gets change going. First comes the alarm. Press 2 again to get to the clock. Seconds show first. Press 3 to get to the minutes. Press 3 again to get the hour.

1     3

2     4

Press 4 then  2 and the clock goes to regular time on the face,
not 1400.

Press 4 and then 3 to turn on the alarm or turn it off

Press 2 to switch between time and stop watch

Press 3 to run stop watch, then 3 to stop it and 4 to reset it

Press 1 only for lighting the dial
Press 3 for the date

When the time is showing, press 3 and then 4 to swith the day and date

Basic time setting is:
Press 3, three times to get to time setting mode, then press 1 to set the numbers.. press 2 to go the next set of numbers.
If the hours are 24 hr mode, cycle 12 hours to get to 12 hr mode.
Note: Numbered clockwise from top right being #1

[Improve] This worked for me:

Press and hold the MODE button (bottom left) for approximately 3 seconds.

When the Alarm set time starts flashing, press the MODE button once more. Now the seconds for the watch time should be flashing.

Use the START/STOP button (top right) to move bewteen items and the SPL/RESET button (bottom right) to change the item.

Moving between all items, it will take you through: seconds, minutes, hours, month, date, day of the week. Simply press MODE when your settings are complete.

Excellent site! I have not been able to stop the alarm going off at 11 something at night since I bought this thing at Walgreens (without instructions.) I have had it put away in the closet - and could still hear the tiny beep most nights.

I followed the direction of instructions above and FINALLY the little "sound" icon disappeared from the screenI

I did this by pressing and HOLDING in button #4 - then pressing button #3.

Thank you for heading me in the right direction - and good luck to the next person with this problem!!

I have a similar problem with the Acqua. I can change the time, but do not know how to set it once I have the time correct. Like one of the other users, I have two large buttons (sp/reset and st/stop on the face of the watch) and a mode and indiglo button on the sides.

any help would be appreciated.

Lost instructions for for Timex 1440 sports and need to reset the time

I have the same problem. I can set the time by pulling the stem out. Supposedly, there is a middle stop on the stem that will set the date, but I cannot get it to work.

SETTING THE TIME OF DAY

Comment by parker689, posted on Aug 17, 2008

I have an "ACQUA INDIGLO DIGITAL" WATCH with a Velcro Strap. I am not even sure who the MANUFACTURER is. I never got the Instructions from Walgreens when I bought this watch "a couple of years ago."
Of course, Walgreens no longer sells this product, so I could get zero details about the missing Instructions.
The date is wrong, the time is wrong. About the only thing I can do is Set the Alarm. MY WATCH...has one button on each side,(approximates "ten and two), and it has Two Big Silver Buttons on the bottom of the 'watch face". The details in the back of the watch / caseback are, as best as I could read it, are: ACQUA. CR2016 CELL, WR 30 M, STAINLESS STEEL BACK, N7, and a sticker that says "China".
Would someone be so kind to help me fix my problems or tell me how to obtain a Copy of the Instructios? Thank you, kindly, Jim in Phoenix, AZ, by way of Long Island, NY. Thanks!!!
