Ok..do the drivers install for the flash drive?? is it recognized by the system?? if yes to all..go to start / computer / right click flash drive in question and click properties....in the tools tab click the "check now" button so it will check drive for errors. that should fix any errors the drive will have.
let me know how your going.

Hai,
That is very awkward. Never had that happen.
Go buy the same one or return it in warranty period or if problem persists it mean there is a problem with you USB hardware get it repaired.Try if it works.. The flash drive itself may be the problem.
Maybe your home computer is not compatible with your flash drive.

Format 4gb lexar jumptwist

The thumb drive you have came already formatted and ready to use. It will read as a DISK because it works the same as a CD or DVD disc. A formatted flash drive is set up at the factory and ready to be used by the new owner. Just copy what you want to move from the computer to the flash drive. When you want to remove data from the flash drive, simply DELETE doing the same as you would on your computer PC or Laptop.

When i plug my 4g cruzer micro usb memory stick nothing happens the cpmuter dosnt read that it is plugged in

Try a different USB device on each of the USB ports on your computer.
Hopefully, all your USB ports are working correctly.

Try a different USB port on your computer.
Hopefully, the SanDisk will be detected on one of the ports.

Try a USB port on a different computer.
If the SanDisk still is not detected, then spend $10 to buy a new 4GB flash-drive.

If you a using a card reader that plugs into your PC and it STILL doesn't read from the card, this means that the card itself is defective and needs to replaced. You CAN try using another card reader to see if that helps.

Hope this helps. :)
