Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl Smartphone
You will need to contact your service provider...it is free but it will take a few days to get the code back if they have tot contact the manufacterer....but you need the 16 diget code......after you get that, go to options, advanced options, sim card, type MEPPD. scroll to sim card, type MEP and pres the ALT key and then the 2 key.
if that doesnt work, instead of typing MEP2, try pressing and holding the ATL key and type MEPPE
if this works, a window will pop up asking for the unlock code....
**note** you will need to put a 'forgien sim card' in the phone at the time that you unlock it

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service
