Re: Microphone does not work
Make sure the Wave volume is turned up in your advanced settings and then check the level should be fine after that. If its not I would think It may be the Mic. did you try another Mic. If so Then you may have to uninstall the audio drivers and reinstall them I sure hope this help you out, Oh yeah I once had the same problem and Yahoo Messenger took over the Mic system and I had to unistall that program too, I don't think thats it but when you have things to try to diaignos one of them just may work for you. window 7 right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar select either playback or recording devices you should see your microphone listed under the recording tab right click on it select
properties at the bottom select use this device enable
Your laptop has a High Definition integrated sound card which will do just fine for low-to mid end recording. Hello, You need to go to this website and download all the driversfor your laptop as needed. These are only for the Dell laptopD600! I would concentrate mostly on the "Chipset" drivers. that should re-enable the board's Microphone input jack.
