Linksys bluetooth USB adapter USBBT100 cause my system to crash at link

I need to uninstall all traces of the linksys dirvers from my systen and start over. I think that when I try to remove the linksys software/drivers there is something that remains and causes a problem. Linksys tech support has not been able to help me. As with any electronic device that plugs in to the wall, I suggest getting a surge protector. It's a small investment that really can save your equipment.

Im using Logic Pro 8, on a powermac G5 desktop, When I try to use absynth 4, logic crashes everytime, this wasnt always an issue, it was working fine for months, and this started happening out of nowhere....

An update of some kind, or some file the software uses could have become corrupted.
I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling.
If that doesn't work, part of the security of Absynth is to cause crashing on "illegal" or "cracked" copies of the software.
Follow this link and read up on similar problems.

Imac Flash Player locks up Bluetooth then crashes

Do you know for a fact that Bluetooth is at all involved? Try attaching a wired mouse -- if the wired mouse also freezes, the problem does not involve Bluetooth.
Flash is notorious for causing system problems on Macintoshes. Try reinstalling the most recent version of Flash.

Windows Vista crashes when I connect my Linksys wusb54g wireless adapter. It worked fine for about 3 months, then started crashing, now I can't have it connected, or it crashes instantly.

This is a software conflict of the linksys device to your system, so to correct this remove first the software from your computer and then after that restart the computer and then connect the adapter on different usb port , if still having the same problem i will suggest that you have the device replace.....

Can i use Bluetooth USB Adapter to connect PC to wireless router?

Hello,

No, I am afraid not. the bluetooth adapter will not connect to your wireless router because as of now there is no router that support that function.

you can buy a USB wireless adapter instead.

Have you unisntalled all the Linksys sofftware through add/remove software. I had a similar problem with an IOGEAR Bluetooth transceiver, I did the setup from the CD, my laptop (Dell C640) blue screened each time. I uninstalled all the IOGEAR software and my laptop stopped blue screening. I never installed the software for a wireless router, I always use the WEB interface and my life is my simplier.

Linksys buletooth wireless adapter

The bluetooth adapter will only work with bluetooth devices such as cell phones.  Unless you D Link router has a bluetooth transmitter on it but more than likely it has a wireless G transmitter on it.

Sounds more like a driver problem than the hardware. USB connections can be troublesome..

This is a site I recommend for USB issues.. the author has a variety of troubleshooting methods.. easier to give a link than to write out each one..
