Windows Vista crashes when I connect my Linksys wusb54g wireless adapter. It worked fine for about 3 months, then started crashing, now I can't have it connected, or it crashes instantly.

This is a software conflict of the linksys device to your system, so to correct this remove first the software from your computer and then after that restart the computer and then connect the adapter on different usb port , if still having the same problem i will suggest that you have the device replace.....

Can i use Bluetooth USB Adapter to connect PC to wireless router?

No, I am afraid not. the bluetooth adapter will not connect to your wireless router because as of now there is no router that support that function.

you can buy a USB wireless adapter instead.

Linksys buletooth wireless adapter

The bluetooth adapter will only work with bluetooth devices such as cell phones.  Unless you D Link router has a bluetooth transmitter on it but more than likely it has a wireless G transmitter on it.

Sounds more like a driver problem than the hardware. USB connections can be troublesome..

This is a site I recommend for USB issues.. the author has a variety of troubleshooting methods.. easier to give a link than to write out each one..

Wont connect to wireless network

first, I suggest trying a different USB port. remove the adapter and the icon should disappear, so if the usb port is loose or broken that may be why its acting like that. Plug it into a different port and try it. You may have to reinstall the driver for the next usb port depending on your system
