Linksys bluetooth USB adapter USBBT100 cause my system to crash at link

Everytime I try to link to my custom bluetooth instrument my system crashes. This USBBT100 adapter works fine when connected through my virtual machine. I need to uninstall all traces of the linksys dirvers from my systen and start over. I think that when I try to remove the linksys software/drivers there is something that remains and causes a problem. Linksys tech support has not been able to help me. I thing that I need to start wiith a clean system.
