This is a problem with flash on your computer which is what is crashing when the CD is auto ran. To work around this you need to leave the CD in the tray after you get this error and go to My Computer and look for the CDrom there and right click on it and select explore. While exploring the CD you will want to look for the folder that is the name of the version of Panda you have. Inside this folder there will be a SETUP file which you could run from.
If the above is unable to be done, you may download your version of the software from the below link
I don't know what a "Blurb"is, but to try to remove a virus, try a few standalone scanners since Panda seems not to be able to do it-- download and run-- or if they dont't work, try Avira, a very good free antivirus, which i've listed last below. Between the 2-3 of these, you'll have a good change to identify and remove your problem.
Go into the Safe Mode. Restart the PC Press F8 Select Safe Mode Once you're in the Safe Mode uninstall the Panda software Restart the PC again Download from www.pctools.com the following free programs.
1. Firewall Plus 2. Anti-Virus
Download from google pack the following free program
3. Spyware Doctor Starter Editiion (free updates)
Now use these programs instead of Panda software, they all update for free and have ondemand scanner protection. Just set them to run either full or intelli scan weekly or daily. I do it daily for added protection. Updates can be set daily or weekly.
One more software which is good for the browser is called: 4. SpywareBlaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
5. Firefox 3 for your browser is better than IE that comes with XP. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Again 4 and 5 are free and update for free, 4 you have to do it manually which isn't hard to do.
One more item you should get is called CCleaner that can be found on www.ccleaner.com download that and install it. Run the Registry Cleaner feature to remove prior Panda left over files.
One add note run all these programs one at a time to scan your system for anything lurking on it as what is lurking can slow down the system, because it's running on your system.
