G1 HTC wont download video to my lap top.

after you set this up try sending / receiving pictures

you either need wifi or a data plan to receive pictures

Open File Explorer and go to the location where the pictures are saved, tap and hold the photo and a sub menu shall appear, select delete from there.

You upload and download photos to and from your g1 and pc using the usb connection.

connect usb cord to lap top (usb cord comes with the g1) it should say usb connected at the very top slide down tap where is "select to copy files to/from your computer" it should ask mount or dont mount tap mount and it is a cake walk from there

youll need an app called es file explorer long tap the file or press menu wheen highlighted.

You cant make video clips because our supposably top of the line phone (G1) doesn't have video camera on it..Total rip off..I'm stuck with an 18 month contract with it now too.. :(..hope that answers your question my freind

ok people i have solved the problem with the g1 not recognizing being hooked up to the computer. the usb cords that are sent with the g1 are very crappy. use another usb mini to connect to your computer. theres no installation required just hook it up and select mount and open up my computer and go to removable disk to access you files.

In the Market there is a program called "Save MMS" - that should assist.
