Re: amp prob

The speaker wire will not shut off the amp. Make sure that your power wire and ground are all connected properly. Check for any break in connections with these wires. Also check to see if your remote wire is connect properly and that there is no break in the wire. If there is a break or disconnection in any of these 3 wires, the amp will not come on. Also, check the amp fuse to see if the fuse has flown. Also check the fuse that is connected to your 12V source. If the fuse is blown, there will be not power on the amp. Check all your connections and fuse and you should find your problem

you must check your wiring from head unit back to subs even take subs out of box to make sure no wires are lose 99.9 of the time a wire has come lose which can be bad if your bridging sups as it changes ohms with 1 or 2 subs hope that helps oh and check volts from you batt and check volts at fuse spots and after fuse to make sure your geting at least 12 to 14 volts cheers i just had a ***** of a prob my subs worked but **** bass found out head unit sub out craped out

first off nice choice on the amp check ur power and ground connections make sure the main battery to bady ground is good if questionable add a new one cant hurt to have extra grounds from the batt to the body make sure the amp ground is as short as u can make it make sure its grounded to bare metal if any of these dont work u may have a prob inside ur amp

My amp cuts out when i raise the sub gain

Then the power wires going to the amp are not heavy enough to keep power to the amp.Or other causes can be the wires going to the sub are either loose or touching.Check all wiring for tightness and wires not touching..If all that checks out then try a different size wire to positive and ground wire Hope this works for you..Have a great day

If it cuts completely out then your amp is going into protect mode which means the subs are probably not wired for the right impedance (Ohms). Check your sub wiring and make sure it at whatever your amp's stable ohm rate is.

My amp

Check your speakers with an ohm meter. They should have some resistance but not totally shorted. Its prob the amp that got fried. Connect the amp to the battery with no speakers attached to it if the protection light still comes on then the amp is blown.

If the amp is blown you can send it to people on ebay and get it fixed pretty cheap. Good luck!

Kicker 750.1 Amp wont play music

it is probably the rca inputs on the amp may have fried. was your cd decked turned up loudly before the power went out? did any wires accidently touch each other? If had worked fine and then suddenly stopped, than either a wire came loose or the inputs fried. try using different cables and I also suggest disconnecting power for 24 hours and then reconnect. If the green light is on then it is getting power and the problem is in the rca cables or the inputs
