It looks like my daughter has managed to get the micro card stuck in the phone. Is there a way of removing it? At the moment there is nothing to get hold of to pull it out. I suspect that it has been incorrectly inserted, so I may have to take the phone apart.
I don't know how you are referring it to be stuck, if its misaligned, a pair of thin hemostats will work, however there is a spring mechanism that will pop the card out if you press down with a pair of tweezers. If its correctly inserted it should be locked in place flush with the plastic under the flap.

most of the time we are putting a password in our memory card so that
the others cannot view the important and sometimes the confidential
files..but unfortunately we forget it so what we are going to do if we
cannot open our memory card?if we are going to a cellphone shop we are
spending much money ,if we buy a new one we also spend ...
i want to share how to unlock/ removed password in your memory card
micro sd...this is applicable only for the card like MINI SD(this is
bigger than micro sd and used in nokia phone like n73 ,n80 ) and for
MICRO SD (used in nokia E-series ,classic nokia like 3500c ,6300 ,3110c
,7210c etc and other chinaphone )...
tools you need is high end phone like nokia 5800 ,n95 ,e63 ,e71 etc...(for phone using mini sd like n73 you need an adaptor..
here is how.. 1. insert your micro sd at nokia 5800 , memory card password will appear just cancel it..
2. go to menu, applications then file manager then you will see that memory card is locked..
3.open memory card you will see memory card locked
4. press options >memory card options and format memory card will appear

note: in this process all your data will be lost but but you have no choice because no other way to removed your password than this...
i hope it will help you ,thanks for trusting fixya
Can you describe in more detail what you are trying to do, step by step, and how the process is failing?
I have uploaded and downloaded pictures from my micro-SD card, both while it is in the phone, using a USB cable and setting the phone to "Menu | Settings & Tools | Tools | USB Mass Storage". Then the phone and the micro-SD card appear on my (Windows) computer as a removable drive, and I can just copy files in either direction.
I am also able to remove the micro-SD card, and plug it into an SD-card slot on my computer (with a micro-to-SD card adapter), and it mounts as a removable drive that way, too.
Note: if you have the micro-SD card in the phone, and you want the pictures you take to be stored on there so you can download them in one of the ways I've described above, then be sure to go into "Menu | Settings & Tools | 9. Memory | 1. Save Options | 1. Pictures" and set this option to "Card Memory", or else your pictures will get saved in the camera internal memory, and not on the card. This may be your problem if you are not seeing the pictures you expect on your memory card when you look for them. If you take Videos and/or Sounds, you might want to set those "Save Option" to the Card Memory, too.
Try to format the memory card first with the computer Try another card Look for the supported card for the phone basically that means that the phone cannot really read the memory card or the card has a broken or corrupted file
You should have "expanded memory" of one of the following: micro sd-card, mini sd-card, regular sd-card. Checking within your settings and look for these specific titles "Memory Card", "Device Manager", "File Manager". If you have expanded memory, then more than likely, that's where your music is stored.
connect the card in memory card reader and got to mycomputer-->right click-->manage-->disk management. see weather you memory size is correct or not if its different right click the memory card and delete the partation then create a new partation
