I cannot connect to comcast and they tell me I need a network card but I use to be able to connect to them, what is the difference now?

is it a new machine your using  have you installed anything new recently and have you ran a check on your registry and deleted anything ?

Maybe the card you were using is defective and needs to be replaced.
