Washer on stackable unit won't start after it initially started..

We moved a 220V outlet to the location of the washer/dryer unit. The dryer starts. The washer wouldn't, we fiddled with the washer set knob trying different cycles, etc. It started to fill with water, I turned it off to add detergent & clothing to the washer & now it won't start again. Any suggestions?

Check the out of ballance switch. It' located between the tub and the cabenit. It sounds like it might have gotten broken when you moved it. You can bypass it by connecting the two wires together until you can replace it.
