Re: voice_adminpage password?

There is no place to put the user ID. I tried admin "FAILE" as password does not work.

I also reset the authentication key from sipothers.htm file.

How can change user name and password in router D-Link?

Reading this question, I'm thinking that you want to change the SSID, this is the name that shows up when searching for wireless connection. First, you must find out what is your gateway, this is the main IP address. It usually is or Once you have that information, you need to log in the router, to log in, open a browser and type the gateway (Ex. A new window will pop up asking for a log in information. The most common default log in info are:
Username Password

admin admin
root 1234
admin password

Once you had successfully log in, take a look at what you have in front of you. There must be a tab name Wireless, click it. Look for SSID and change it to what you want to name it. Security should be in the same path, if not, save your work and log in again, but since you already change the SSID, you must search for the wireless connection again, and input the password, log in again.
If security is within wireless, then just head over to password and change it. You can also change the encryption type, I recommend WPA 2 personal. Once everything is all set up with the new SSID and the new password, click Save.
Search for the new SSID or router with your computer and input your new password once found by the computer./ Good luck.

I dont know crouter configuration

Look at your computer's IP configuration. Go to Network and Dial-up Connections, RIGHT CLICK on your network and pick PROPERTIES. Click on the Internet TCP/IP protocol, then click on the PROPERTIES button. Make sure that your settings are OBTAIN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY.

Then get into your status screen and look at the GATEWAY address. Is that ?

(If you are using Windows 95/98/ME, then go to RUN and go to WINIPCFG)

You can also use the COMMAND PROMPT and type IPCONFIG and it will show the Gateway address. If the Gateway address is slightly different, then try to get into it at that address.

Also from the COMMAND PROMPT, (or MS-DOS window) you can use the PING command. Just type PING If your router responds, you might be OK.

Look at the lights on your ethernet card. Is it GREEN, or does it show YELLOW.

Try rebooting your computer and using PING again.

Then the problem presist it's possible that this Router is NO GOOD.

Hope this Helped!

Reset a password for IBM NWAYS Router 2210 Model 12E

Does this mean anything to you Remote Login Names and Passwords During a remote login, the device prompts you for a login name and password. You can display the login name when logged in to the device from a remote console by using a device status command. Logging in Remotely or Locally Logging in to a local console is the same as logging in to a remote console except that you must connect to the device by starting Telnet on your host system. To log in remotely, begin at step 1. To log in locally, begin at step 3. To log in from a remote console: 1. Connect to the device by starting Telnet on your host system. Your host system is the system to which remote terminals are connected. 2. Supply the device?s name or Internet Protocol (IP) address. To use device names, your network must have a name server. Issue either the device name or the IP address as shown in the following example: % telnet brandenburg or % telnet At this point, it makes no difference whether you have logged in remotely or locally. 3. If you are prompted, enter your login name and password. login: Password: It is possible that there is a login and no password. The password controls access to the device. If a password has not been set, press the Enter key at the Password: prompt. Logins are not set automatically. For security, you can set up user names and passwords using the add user command in the CONFIG process. For additional information, see the add user configuration command, on 56. Remember to reload or restart to activate any changes. Note: If you do not enter a login name and valid password within 1 minute of the initial prompt, or if you enter an incorrect password three times in succession, the device drops the Telnet connection. 4. Press the Enter key to display the asterisk (*) prompt. You may have to press the Enter key more than once or press Ctrl-P to obtain the * prompt. Once at this level, you can begin to enter commands from the keyboard. Press the Backspace key to delete the last character typed in on the command line. Press the Delete key or Ctrl-U to delete the whole command line entry so that you can reenter a command. See ?Command Completion? on page 20 and ?Command History? on page 23 for more information. You can also use local Telnet commands on your Telnet client to close the Telnet connection.
