Need Gas Line installation instructions for a McCulloch Lawn Trimmer I bought New Neoprene tubing (Gas line) for My McCulloch trimmer model B400128-11. The old lines hardened over the years, and broke off where they went into the tank. I need the directions as to which lines go to where, or an instruction manual that shows where they go. there are 5 locations where the line should go. One end To the primer, From end from the primer, one end to the Tank, and another one that goes to the tank, and one end to the Carburetor. What goes Where??? Thanks for any help on this matter. A Copy of the original Manual might help. Chuck.

Hi Start from the filter in the tank to the bottom of the carby then from the top of the carby to the short primer pipe then from the long pipe on the primer back to the tank. Hope this helps.

the spools come with line already installed,they are all for bolens,line is generic,you buy your own line,there are 2 different sizes,and a bunch of types,like round or star,you buy generic line because bolens wont make any money if they sold "BOLENS" line.
You can find that in your service manual, typically in a new fuel line kit, or possibly in a Youtube video.
I recommend contacting your local service center for assistance.

its only silicone tube have a look in some model shops for fule line or pet shops that sell "fish!" the tube used in fish tanks to pump air or water through the filters will also work for fule pipe,,so long as its silicone tube it will work fine,, trust me on this i use it all the time
1 check to see if the inline gas shut off valve is lined up with either the open position or the gas line (depending on which is used)
Also there could be a nut (actually a bolt head) where the gas line enters the carb. If your model has that type of fuel inlet to the carb take off that bolt and carefully slide it out of the manifold. There is a tiny plastic screen inside that you need to check for buildup of particulate.
So in short verify the gas on position and check the fuel filter.
If your not sure if the gas is on or off then you can gain access to the carb fuel line disconnect it and see if the gas flows freely to the carb itself.
