My dell sk8110 keyboard has a round purple

My dell sk8110 keyboard has a round purple connector plug that fit my old computer. My new computer has only USB ports. How can I connect my keyboard to the new computer?

The round purple connector is refered to as "PS/2" type connector. You can find an adapter that converts PS/2 to USB connector. The above link was just to show what I was refering to. Hope this helps.

you can get a ps2 to usb connector at best buy, or ebay for cheep

You just need to buy a PS/2 to USB connector.

It looks like this:

Its plug and play so you don't need to install drivers etc. You can find this at PC stores and just look for this particular type of connector.

Hi,
To connect your old keyboard with a PS2 pin (purple colored) to your new PC with USB sockets only, you'll have to connect it with a PS2 to USB adaptor pin as shown in the image below:
