Karaoke Machine - words are overlapping/jumping

Replace the lid lock. If you post a model number I can give you a part number. Over time lid locks sometimes wear out over time( most of them are 90% plastic). Lid locks should be relatively inexpensive. Also if this is a top load washer you can replace it yourself instead of hiring someone.

'LE' stands for Lock/Lid Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the lid solenoid/lock or the 'lid closed' sensor. Both require a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

Number 11 is the lid switch. Over time these simply fall apart. Your machine will allow the washer to wash with the lid open so you can add bleach after the wash cycle starts. But it won't allow the washer to spin unless the lid is closed. The red circle is the lidswitch connection. 2 of them 3 wires is hot. The other one is bolted to the frame. Jump them 2 hot wires and she will run and spin out. This is for testing purposes.

Could be the lid switch is malfunctioning. FYI: The lid must be closed for spin on older washer. It must be closed for wash and spin on newer ones. The lid has a striker in it that pushes against the lid switch arm. This switch allows for spin IF the lid is closed. The switch may have failed. Mechanically the striker may be broken or the actuator arm may be broken. The end that the harness plugs into has 3 holes. As you can see above the lid switch has 3 wires. 2 live wires and one green ground. You can jump the washer out using a horseshoe shaped wire or equivilent. Newer models have the ground wire on one end. Not good! Look for that before attempting to jump it out. At any rate their are 3 wires. One of them is always green and always mounted to the frame. The other 2 are live. You can jump them to magically make that puppy spin and pump. Not recommended to leave it that way. For testing purposes only.

Check the lid switch. The lid switch will be located on the machine top where the lid closes. It may be a plunger on the lid that activates the switch or a white plastic flat piece where the lids sets. Either scenario can be checked by jumping out the lid switch. Disconnect the power. Lift the lid. Use alligator clips to connect the two terminals. Plug in the machine. Select spin. If, the machine operates you have a bad lid switch.

My machine has the same problem and I got the same response from the company. I discovered a quick fix. With needle nose plyers I removed the wire from the corner of the lid that holds the lid open. Without the wire, the lid remains closed and the CD will play. The downside is that its tricky to open the lid. I've been using the piece of wire I removed to gently pry the lid open. I think I will glue a knob or ribbon to the top of the lid to make it easier to open. This isn't a perfect fix, but it was quick & free and now I can use my machine!

These are plastic and will need to be replaced with new.
Once you have sourced new hinges then the machine top needs to be opened,
Electrically Isolate the machine, then at the joint between the machine front panel and top insert a flat blade 4" from each side to release the lid catches, tilt back the top to access the screws on the hinges and replace with new.

The lid of the CD player was loose resulting in the CD not being able to play. If I hold the lid closed or place a book on it it will play. Needless to say, I will be exchanging it for one that works properly.

Try looking on the back of the machine for vertical and or horizontal hold controls (marked V-Hold and H-Hold) and try adjusting them, especially the horizontal hold.

If that doesn't help, then the next troubleshooting step would be if the machine has a video output you could try connecting to a TV/Monitor and see if the graphics appear there.
