Printer Prints nothing as it moves.

I can send the printer to print whatever I want... but nothing prints! It moves as if it where printing but no ink is ejected! Print heads are cleaned cause I already went through a set of cartridges cleaning them out.
Maybe a short circuit on the print head? a damaged FFC (flat flex cable)?
Is there anyway in fixing the FFC without replacing it?

Test Print via printer comes out blank. Its like the head isn't getting the information to print... but all the mechanical parts are.

Printer cue is empty. Tried the Printer on both a Mac and PC. Still moves like its printing but the page is blank.

I checked with the Epson Adj Utility and there is a 'Hot Head' error (code 43).

Need the two cables that hocks to the print head cable a & b. Are they available?

Print a test print from the printer first without sending the command form the pc, if this works, that rule out the printer problem. then check the printer's history and see if you don't have uncompleted work on the status. if you have delete and resend. if you don't, uninstall and reinstall the printer. good luck

Hi there,

The low ink cartridge warning is nothing to worry about. If it prints, it prints. Most modern printer cartridges have a chip on it which lets the printer know when the ink is low. When you run low on ink, it sends a message to the printer which sends a message to the computer telling you to refill the ink. The problem is that it doesn't go away once you refill the ink. It still prints, you just get a notification whenever you want to print. You can still use it up until that new cartridge runs out of ink. :)

Have you removed the tear off tape from top of cartridges, it lets the air in and ink flows.

Printer doesn't print correctly.

My almost new F4100 printer is printing irradically, prints perfectly for two or three lines, then it fades to nothing, in a few more lines it prints perfect again. I can't find where to fix it.
