Noise is caused by the toner cartridge and paper is not going trough because there is a plastic milar clse to the feed roller that is bent, find it and push it towards the inside of printer (is a black or dark brown plastic mylar)

My Hp 1200 laser printer makes a high pitched squealing noise and I have to pull the plug out to stop it.

The fuser is the part of the printer that heats the toner to the paper. turn the printer around and open the back cover. You should see a long black bar with green clips on either side to release a paper jam. There may also be rollers in there. Make sure there is no debris in the fuser, and that those clips are in the functioning position (usually down). If the fuser is removable, which I don't think it is in this model, take it out and then reinstall it. Then give it a shot. Usually though high pitched squeal is a toner cartridge thing. If you are using reman cartridges try a new (actual hp) cartridge from office depot or staples.

Hpllaser jet 1200 paper stuck in the back I had try to pull it but I can barely see it there, i can't see it from the front

You might use a tweezers and try to pull out the paper. The paper is stuck by a sensor, and if you can clear that sensor, the machine will start up, and transport the rest of the paper out. Be carefull and try not to hurt the fusing rollers, while picking with the tweezers.
If it's no good, you have to disassemble
the fuser-unit and remove the paper, or in worst case, replace the fuser unit..

PAPER NOT RECIVE

Paper not picking up?..shoot print command and observe printer trying to grabbing the paper?..see any marks on paper leading edge? Remove cartridge and see inside paper pick up roller, might be its dusty or warn out, remove the pick up roller releasing the side locks, clean with wet cloth, fix it back then try once, if its success..end the process.. if not replace pick up roller..observe similar kind of machine: 2_4_2012_9_32_43_am.gif2_4_2012_9_33_08_am.jpg

My HP laser printer 1300 had a paper jam

When printing or copying, paper will not pick up or feed into the HP LaserJet 1000, 1200 or 1300 series product causing paper jams or wrinkled output. Symptoms are as follows:
  • The pickup roller will spin and try to pick paper.
  • The paper will partially feed into the product accompanied by a crackling, crunching noise then jamming.
  • The paper may feed all the way through the paper path accompanied by a crackling, crunching noise. The output will be skewed and wrinkled.
SOLUTION: Reposition the black Mylar light shields back into the proper position.
  1. Unplug the power cord from the product.
  2. Remove the paper and paper input tray.
  3. Slide hands, palms side up, into the paper input tray cavity (see Figure 1) until the fingertips reach the end of the cavity. Figure 1: Paper input tray cavityc00068598.jpg
  4. Bend fingers up to push the black Mylar light shields back into place. The proper position of the black Mylar light shield will be flat.
  5. Reconnect the power cord.
  6. Print a self-test/configuration page to verify product is functioning correctly.

HP LaserJet wont pick up paper

Try cleaning the feed roller. It may have debris on it, making it slip. Use alcohol on a lint free cloth. Often you'll see on the paper where the roller slipped on the paper. There may be a dark smudge where the roller slipped. Check it out.

Printer is not working.

There are several things in the front that could be making that noise. The transfer roller, paper guide/top ublique roller and front obligue roller which is on the left side front. It is hard to say. I guess the printer is printing OK. If not what is the printer doing? Do you get any paper jams? Printing light? Can you rub the print off the paper? Any labels stuck? Please answer questions so I can help you. My guess is a roller problem. Which one is hard to say since I can't hear the printer myself.
