1-Need to dry out the bottom housing.
2-Unplug power cord for at least 24 hours to dry out the sensor for it resets itself.
3-Locate where is the leak and fix it.
If the leak is there, the floor sensor will be always activated every time machine starts.

Hi, how do I fix error code F1 of a fisher & paykel draw dishwasher??

The F1 error on a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher means the flood switch was activated for seven seconds or longer. ... The dishwasher's flood switch could activate because the water is leaking around the heater plate. It would still eventually show up somewhere, though a leak like that would kill the heater plate too.

Flood switch activated on dishwasher DW60CSWI

Please clarify the model number. i am assuming you have a standard height single door dishwasher. It is likely the flood switch assembly itself is faulty and giving false results. Check the base of the dishwasher - item 95 in on page 10 in this manual. The microswitch could be faulty or the spring might be stuck.

Code 15

This is indicating a flood issue the flood switch in the base pan is activated. remove the unit from under the counter take the left side off. Dry the water up then watch it to see were it is leaking from.

The float switch/level sensor in the rinse boiler has not activated. This could be a faulty solenoid not letting the water in (assuming the isolating valve is turned on), or a faulty float switch/level sensor. This would result in water overflowing through the rinse arms and the overflow in the rear of the wash tank.

Hope helps.

Hi there Dolly, error code E1 relates to water leaking. Its the code the machine displays when the flood switch in the bottom of the machine activates. The flood switch activates when the bottom of the machine gets filled with water from a leak. I surgest you have a look underneth the machine for signs of water. I hope this helps regards Gary.

Flood switch activated, intermittent beeping, motor will not turn off

Please confirm if it is a single or a double drawer.

How do you know the flood switch is activated? Do you have a display on your dishwasher and what is it showing? If no display then which lights if any on the panel are on?

Motor will not run if flood switch is activated in the fisher paykel drawer dishwwasher.

Hi my whirlpool dishwasher wont stop drainning even when the start button is of

This is a typical Anti Flood system activation. This system activates when water leaks onto the floor of the machiene due to a leak fault (pipe/hose clamp/ partly blocked pipe). The machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and stops water inlet. The anti flood system is a polystireen float / micro switch at the base of the machiene floor. Dry the floor and drectify the leak and it should work.

Doulbe Draw model receiving an F1 error message.

F1 indicates flood switch has been activated. I wouldn't advise you attempt repair on these drawers- they really require an expert to disassemble (I worked for F+P for 10 years!!). Depending on which model you have (DD603 or DD601v2), repair varies. 603 has a small circuit board that acts as flood switch- located in base beneath drawer- requires drawer to be removed for access. 601v2 model has polystyrene float that acts as flood switch-leaks usually caused by split lid seal(tricky to access- drawer has to be removed) In either case, a leak has occurred and activated flood switch. These drawers are very sensitive to detergents (don't use tablets!!), and the way they are loaded.
Would suggest you get service technician to remedy F1 fault

The flood switch has been activated on my dishwasher

Remove the bottom drawer by pressing in the tabs on either side of the drawer (bottom edge towards the front).

Dry out the compartment with towels and let air dry.
