I have lost sound on my ipaq hw6515a.I can receive calls but cannot hear anything on the other end.Same case applies to making calls,i.e,calls go through ok,signal great. But its dead. Also,no key sounds,no music sound from the integrated or removable devices.I mean, this thing just died on me!!!
Do you usually use the handsfree ear piece? Try pluggin in the handsfree ear piece and see if you can hear something. The 6515 has a known issue with the system where by the phone thinks its in handsfree ear piece mode when there isnt a ear piece plugin. Try pluging and unpluggin the ear piece until it works

In this case check the volume of you're Handheld, If it is low, Increase the volume and check still if it is not working you need to walk into the service center to check the speaker of you're Handheld.
In the socket where you plug in the external earphone are bending contacts, which also switch of the speaker when you are using an earphone. Try either putting in the jack and wobbling and twisting it, or tapping the corner with your knuckle.
IN EITHER CASE - BE GENTLE
That will knock of the dirt and the switch will work again
