How do I remove the top cover of a Yamaha Clavinova, CVP 30 digital piano?

There are 2 possible things to look for - can't remember due to age of your instrument.

Look under the piano - about 20cm in from front corners, can you see a screw head set in a metal bracket. If so undo these and the top cover / lid will lift.

If not try : Close cover over keys, get a torch and look above the cover through the slit to the far left and right about 10cm in you might see a screw head - under these (1L 1R ) lift top cover / lid.

I hope this helps

What screws need to be removed to get inside the keyboard to replace power supply input jack

Flip the keyboard on its back and remove all screws with an arrow.

If no arrow, remove all on outside edge.

The jack should be easy to replace but you may need a soldering gun.

How do I replace cord jack on a Peavey bass guitar?

You'll need needle nose pliers, small phillips head screwdriver, soldering iron, electronics-grade solder, socket screwdriver or 1/4" wrench, black electrical tape. Purchase necessary replacement jack. Remove plastic electronics cover plate, located on the back of the body, behind control knobs. This will expose the electronics cavity. Locate existing jack and its wire connections inside the exposed cavity. Remove any electrical tape covering the jack connections. Using a hot soldering iron, touch each of the two soldered input jack connections, one at a time, just until the soldered connection melts. Then, disconnect the associated wires (taking note of which wire connects where!). Once disconnected, loosen and remove the nut on the outer part of the jack that holds it onto the guitar body. Remove the old jack. Insert the new jack (with the nut removed) into the existing hole, from inside the electronics cavity and tighten it in place, on the outside of the guitar body, with the nut. Re-attach the wires to the new jack, by using needle nose pliers to wrap them tightly around the correct posts. Touch the hot soldering iron to each post and apply a small amount of solder to the post as it's being heated. Once the molten solder runs over the connection and looks shiny, remove the tip of the soldering gun. This process takes only 2 to 3 seconds. Let the connections cool for a few seconds. To insulate, wrap connections with black electrical tape. Replace cover plate.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE BACK FROM TOSHIBA 32HL67

Remove the base stand assembly.
Find all perimeter screws and remove those as well. Most sets have big arrows pointing to the holes on the back cover where screws must be removed. This one may or may not. Before you go yanking on the cover, make sure you check near the inputs (RCA jacks, HDMI ports, etc.) to see if there are any small screws and remove those as well. Gently begin prying at the cover; if it's not coming off with utmost ease, you probably missed a screw. Just be patient and gentle and treat her like lady. Er, wait, we're still talking about TV's right? haha. But seriously, that's all there is to it.

How do we get the plastic cover off the machine? We have removed all visible screws on cover and plate, removed cover over light bulb area, and plastic extension around plate area. We are trying to...

Is this a sewing machine? Plastic covers can be tricky to remove. Look for deeply set screws in deep holes, as well as screws that might become visible after removing covers. Sometimes the screws holding the rubber feet on will also secure the cover.

I bought replacement drivers for Mission 780 speakers...how do I replace them...no visible screws...does the cover plate come off?

Screws are hidden under the plastic plugs where the covers slot in. remove cover, then maybe use a pencil and fingers to prize out the rubber "holes". Once all four removed, unscrew the four screws visible. Carefully lift off baffle, note that tweeter will be attached to the baffle. You then have easy access to the driver, again another four screws holding that in. You may find erosion on the terminals.

Vizio L37 no picture or sound, power light comes on after selecting power button

This would be a mainboard issue. Since it effects both video and sound. I would replace the M/B. It's easy to do. You will need to post the model number of you TV so I could post the correct part number.

After you get the a new M/B you woudl flip the TV over and remove all the screws. Pop of the back and remove the screws from the M/B cover. Don't forget to remove the screws around the input jacks. After that it's easy. Just replace the M/B and put it all back together and your surfing again.
