Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Purchased this product to do the Xmas lights on my house. Wonderfull product BUT when it is cold the unit runs a double speed. Cycling the power will eventually clear the issue and it is fine till next time. Heard on a message board that others are having the same problem but I don't want to wait 30 days to have it replaced. Xmas will be over.
I work in electronics for Fluke and if someone could give me a solution or a schematic I would like to try to fix it for this years lights.
I don't see it on this web site. Any help would be great.
Cold, possibly? Try putting the unit under a plastic container (like a large rubbermaid tub) with about a 100 watt bulb (work light) this should generate enough heat to keep it warm. My bet is moisture, rain, snow, cover it with a garbage bag when you put it out at xmas, also makes the unit some what invisible to thieves. just a thought
