Since we figured it was looking for a digital input, we connected a HDMI cable from our digital cable box. TV is functional once again. We searched for 2 months with no luck on trying to fix this. It almost went out in the trash!!

No signal to tv when dvd or vcrs is off


Assume no signal u mean no digital tv ?and what looses time and channel?do u recieve tv broadcasts via a box or is it built in?if u can recieve channels via dvd recorder i would assume where ever it gets them from needs to be connected to tv also.u dont say if its hdmi leads.scart or coax rf type.more info please

Just press and hold.the volume -ve and channel +ve button on the tv panel.

Nothing to worry, You change to AV mode to TV mode and wise verse,
If nothing happen then call the service center, It only two months old.

My 2001 Mitsubishi Medallion recently stopped recieveing HD channel from my FIOS HDTV Box. When switching from standard channels(they work) to an HD channel, the screen shows scrambled mutltiple images and...


If the TV works in the "Other" modes than I would suspect, that the FIOS HDTV box has developed some fault. When a TV goes to a "Blue Screen" this means that it cannot interpret a proper signal, maybe you need to reset the FIOS, anyway check that out, the TV itself, I do NOT think is faulty, check connections, antenna and to TV as well. Unplug ALL from wall wait 5 mins, and power back up, this often fixes a lot or problems.

R - Restore: Restore default settings E - Environment: Change your environment, remove from media cabinet, try different media, try different equipment (TV, router, hotspot, etc.). P - Power Cycle: Power cycle by unplugging your networking equipment from wall for 2 minutes to reset. A - Access this Knowledge Center for useful articles to resolve issues. I - Install the latest System Software Update. R - Resolved: In most cases these steps can resolve your issue.

No picture only a blue screen


A blue screen usually means no signal is recieved or supplied - try changing channels to ch. 3 or hooking up a dvd player, if available, to video inputs and select that input on the TV.

Blue sreen with message sayin this is an encrypted channel


call Comcast and do nothing more. if they messed it up make sure they fix it or you could be out a tv and a cable box. if they wont then call the manufacturer of the tv.

Direct Tv Receiver No sound Black Screen


unplug the power from the reciever for a few moments. plug it back in and let it load. once its finished turn to channel 201. Usually it the reciever is on an unavailable channel (channel with no programming) when it restarted it will go back to that unavailable channel hince the black screen and no sound.

This is an encrypted channel


Hello hbennett,
When looking at cable TV some of the channels are encoded (arranged digitally) to disallow access to the content on that channel.  This is true in the case of encrypted channels, the cable company has taken that channel and through an encrypting algorithm made that channels content inaccessible to you. The only legal way to see that channel is to pay the cable company or content provider for that service (channel). I hope this helps.

KP-53s65 multipule problems, hoping for single solution?


sounds like 2 different problems here. first problem sounds tuner related. second sounds convergence related. third issue (cost effective to repair ?) at this point i would replace the set. i hope this helps
