I have a normally pretty handy
Concord digital camera, Eye-Q 3x model, which powers up, displays everything fine, but when taking a picture the shutter seems to jam and doesn't record the image. The viewer blacks out as normal and you can hear things at least partly move inside, but stops and switches back to viewing instead of displaying the image it would've just recorded and there's no image on the drive.
Started to disassemble it myself but ran into an obstacle with
the viewerfinder/ focus ring which is the only thing preventing me from opening it up. E-mail contact with Concord some months ago has yielded ZERO response.
Not covered by warranty; got it off eBay years ago for as much as their out-of-warranty repair fee.
Ideas, suggestions, solutions for either the fix or at least getting it open? Thanks.
