Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer’s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
I experienced a similar problem caused by corrupt files saved on the internal memory of my e280. (I could not delete/remove the files) I had to format the internal drive of the e280 and re-copy the files back on to the unit. Works great now. When formatting the device use the command from windows. (ie right click on the internal memory icon and select format)
Note: Formatting will remove/delete all the files (eg music,photos..) from the e280 so make sure that you have backups.
if you disconnect your mp3 player, does the screen still appear white and can you turn it on or off?
i had the same problem, basically it freezes because it is busy downloading music or placing music where it is suppost to be. but if you cannot turn it off after you have unplugged it, you should take off the back cover and take out the battery. place the battery back in, and replace the cover and it should be able to turn back on without a white screen.
You dragged & dropped files in recovery mode?
Recovery mode is only for re-installing the firmware or formatting the device if it is unresponsive.
If you are wanting to drag and drop files onto the device, the music needs to be put into the Music folder on the device.
If you do not see the Music folder, you will need to enable hidden files and folders on your PC.
Best of Luck.
p.s. - you can add to this question this doesnt work.
