Most machines will have a z bend in the end of the throttle wire, the outer cable will be anchored with a square block into the induction block, the z bend in the cable will then fit into a hole in the throttle spindle on the carb, there will only be one hole in the spindle the correct size for the cable.

Hi sounds like it could need a diaphram kit in the carby if it has mixture screws one markedl for low speed and one marked h for high speed you can try winding out the low speed screw a bit but if that does not work it will definatly need a kit.

leaf blowers lets see remove the two screws that hold the carb in then remove the throttle cable
last remove the two fuel lines now the carb is in your hand you can ether have tho carb rebuilt
or go down to tractor supply and they will match it for a new one.( be careful with the fuel lines)
