How do I download songs from my puter to this mp3 player the instructions are very comfusing and when I put in the little cd that came with it nothing happens
I have a pretty new puter purchased in april of 07 and I have windows xp media center edition
any help will be greatly appreciated thank you
The CD contains drivers for Win 88 and ME not for XP. The manual is for those who have Chinese as their first language and want to learn bad English :) . Seriously though, on XP all you need to do is insert the player into a USB port, using the supplied cable if you wish or directly. Double click on "My Computer" which should show all of your drives including the MP3player. Double click on it to open it in a new window. Now you can drag music files (MP3, WMA, etc) into this window in order to load them into the player. When you are done make sure safely remove the player by clicking on the little green arrow in the lower right side of the screen and clicking on safely remove the device.

if you have a windows machine, first plug the mp3 player in to one of the empty usb ports on your computer and let windows install it, now use windows media player to songs to it using sync or copy music to device
Just to make sure...are you using supported file types? Do the files you are trying to use have DRM (digital rights management) on them that would prevent them from being used on other equipment? This means did you buy them online from a source like i-Tunes or Walmart. Try using a plain jane mp3. if you don't have one put a cd in your computer and rip it as mp3 files in window media player. Then try moving those files to the Delstar. Or try placing files it from another computer.
There are sub-folders in mp3 players such as music, pics,or something like that when you download them. See if they are deleted. Kinda like computers when you have different folders you put them in. if that is not it email me back and I will look more in to it..
You are probably transferring files from ITunes that are probably not MP3 files. I am having the same problem. I noticed that the MP3 files that I copy from CD will work, but not the "protected" files from iTunes.
I don't know how to fix this but maybe there is a bypass??
