Hi, scan at around 350dpi, save the image file as a jped and then import it into word or other program that will accept jpegs and you can make the image as big as you want up to A4 or letter size (depending on the paper size you use

While printing go to options before pressing print button. There choose size you will find your solution there. You can select printing sizes there.

Please click here and follow the instructions to change scan settings in HP director.
If it does not work uninstall the software and download the full feature software for your printer.
Click here and select your OS and select Full feature software and click on download only.

having problem with the scanner program? try the windows ability on control panel - scanner & camera, after it is scanned, just use the microsoft picture manager or photosoft to resize the photo

Just a tip;
If you want to print an enlarge scan photo. It is best to first get a quality scan resolution of the picture. When scanning the photo set the scan photo as for printing purposes. Then use a another software or adjust printer settings to enlarge the photo.
