Move from side to side and jiggle the whole assembly .. including the juice collector and juicing basket. With patience and even a break between attempts it will finally dislodge itself and lift up and off.

Just juiced carrots and a couple apples .. mmmm good ;-) best of luck

The solution I just posted is for the Oster Model 3165 Juice Extractor. Not sure if that's exactly what you have..

That's spot on! I have the same model and basically you have to shut the kitchen door so as not to wake anyone and just shake the bujeezus out of it. I wonder what the company line is on this. Just ordered myself an Omega. Should help with the peace of mind.

I need to find/buy 2 replacement parts for my jack lalanne stainless power juicer model SSMT1000 - the crescent tool and the pulp collector. Do you know where to find replacement parts?

Replacement parts for the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer can be purchased on-line from the following website:

https://www.unitycart.com/pjss/parts/parts_classic.asp

Select your model from the horizontal menu bar; unfortunately not labeled by model number. Scroll down to see the available replacement parts and add to your cart.

We have a power juicer pro and cannot get it apart. cant find the manuel. looking for a part to get the basket out? is there a picture of the tool so we know what we are looking for?

;-) just use a dull butter knife or end of spoon to gently pry it up in a few positions as you go around. i've owned one for 5 years and do it all the time ;-)

How do you take it apart to clean it ?

It's really easy, you take down the metal bar and the top comes off, then you should see the orange mesh basket which is removed using your little tool - it's like a key which you turn to remove the basket - rinse under the tap - piece of cake.

Taking apart Jack Lalne power juicer to clean.

There are two holes on the surface of the blade. When the juicer was bought, it came with a half moon shaped orange tool that has two posts that fit into these two holes.

By inserting the tool into these holes you can unscrew the blade from the machine as long as you hold the outer screen while doing so.

Once this is done, you simply lift the other pieces off.

If you can't find your orange two prong tool, i would suggest using a screw driver or two that fit into the hole(or two)..... hold the orange screen and turn the blade counter-clockwise..

Hope this helps
