Question about Hoover HWF5513E Front Load
Hoover front load washer dryer. Dryer gets hot but does not dry very well. We had someone out before who unclogged something (dog hairs) is this something I can do myself? Where's the clogged vent? Took top panel off but couldn't see it.
I think the engineer showed me it when he came a few years ago, but sadly can't remember what he did.
Restricted air flow...either vent or wheel that moves the air. Try taking hose off of where it goes outside and just let it run like that and see if clothes dry faster. If so you need vent cleaned.

If you remove the top there is a thermal fuse on the dryer heater duct, it appears this has blown, on some versions this is resettable, you will see a small button on a thermostat, push it in if it makes a suttle clip it has reset. Regards Advisor

Check the duct work see if it is clogged up with lint. Everything you read tells you to clean it out, but how many of us do it? I just had the same problem with my duet dryer and when I went under the house to check, the duct was clogged up with lint and works like a charm now.

SOURCE: Draining issues
I just fixed a similar problem on my Samsung WF337 The machine was making a grinding noise during a wash cycle. After entering 'service mode' (see the "Washing Machine Technical Information booklet that came with your machine) and testing the drain pump operation I determined that the pump was the source of the noise. Eventually I found that a nickel had worked it's way into the drain pump. The manual does not address how to access or clean the pump so I thought I would post instructions.
