Question about Shuttle XPC PC Desktop
My shuttle would not turn on most of the time; occasionally it did, at times way after I had pressed the ON button. Checked power supply voltages- all seemed ok. Supply comes on if I short PS ON ( green) atx pin to ground; if I remove the ground, it goes off. I checked the switch for operation at the header- it seems to be operating as momentary switch per its function. Once booted, all seems normal. The HD light stays lit if I turn the PC off. I am thinking there is a break in the connection from the switch header and the ATX PS header. Not sure the best way to proceed from here. I love the little PC- it has served me well for years with no problem.
Any ideas to try?
well, is a problem with lines, that you must change, and welding the ground to the line should fix that in your particular case. but carefull not to weld much, the ground line.
