Check the cord by using another phone. If it's good and your phone still won't work or show ANY signs of life, then i'm afraid it may be dead. Hard to say from here.

Sounds like the blue tooth module that is probably located inside the center console has probably gone bad. This may also be located under the dash. Should be able to order one once you find it and get the part # off of it.
For me to use a phone with my uconnect and still use AT&T as my bundled provider, I had only one choice of phones. The HTC ONE. Did you use the software tool available that matches the IPS you have or want with the phone features you want. The program spits out the phone(s) available. I wanted all the features including speech to text to a text message, and some other geeky features that in the end limited me to the HTC ONE. But I lucked out. the phone is incredible. Oh, I have yet to use the feature I bought the phone for! You probably have the Uconnect help and support number but here it is anyway; 1-877-855-8400. I hope this helps.
you disconnect the battery Do NOT TURN on the phone, it will short
everything out. remove battery and place phone in rice for 48hrs this
will take all moister out of the phone. If you have turned the phone on
you'll need to buy another phone.
GOOD TO KNOW THAT THE PROBLEM IS NOTICED, IT IS CLEAR THAT THE FAULT IS EITHER THE CAMERA IS DISCONNECTED OR THERE ITS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM. IF UT IS DISCONNECTED, YIU,,LL HAVE TO CAREFULLY OPEN OND GET IT RECONNECTED.AND IF SEE ITS THE SOFTWARE PROBLEM THEN YOU HAVE TO FLASH THE PHONE. GOODLUCK... BUT YOU HAVE TO CHECK ALSO IF THE CAMERAS COVER IS PROEPRLEO PROPERLY OPEN I MEAN.
I have the same problem and I simply open the base (5 screws at the back), disconnect the cable that came from the keypad located (if you see the station from the back) at the left, turn on the base without connecting this cable. After that, I unpluged the station, reconnect the keypad cable and connect it again. Solved.
