Question about JVC HD-61Z786 61" Rear Projection HDTV
I just brought this home 2 days ago and set it up yesterday and noticed some spots in the middle of the screen that are on the inside of the screen. Depending on where you stand the spots are black or white. They kind of look like what a sweat spot looks like after it dries on glass. I am the second owner of the tv. I bought it at AAFES for a discount because it was brought in to be repaired. Is it possible to remove the front screen off to clean it? I really don't have time to have a repair person come out. Need help because it's really driving me crazy.
I had the same spots on the inside of my screen. Bought mine at AAFEs also. Called JVC and they gave me the number to a local service that came out to my house and replaced the screen under warranty. The technician said it was a common problem caused during the manufacturing process.
