Black bar printed in the center of copied document

Printing documents are fine. However, when I use the copy function, every document printed has a thick black bar printed in the center of the document. I tried cleaning the cartridges, but am unable to get rid of the black bar that appears whenever I copy something. HP Photosmart 2575 All-in-One

HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One. cartridge error: refer to device documentation to troubleshoot ... I was in the process of of printing a series of documents. does not print prpoperly

Will it color copy- stand alone? Try making a copy on the printer by itself. If the copy is still printing in blue, then go to the service section in the menus, and clean the print head, if that does not work then try the recalibrate function. -If the copy comes out fine when you try it stand alone, try deleting the printer and reinstalling the printer.

How do i copy a document instead of printing using ink

Printing and copying both require ink. Scanner does not.
To copy put the document on the glass and press the copy button.

What button to press to copy a document ?

If you are putting a document into the printer and want to make a copy of it, press the key that says "copy" on the printers keyboard. Then choose the number of copies you want to make and press the "ok" or "enter" key on the keyboard of the printer.

If the document you wish to make a copy of is located in your computer and you dont have a copy of it to place in your printer - then you need to print the document. Not copy the document. Copy means make another one. You can't copy something that you dont have in your hands. Understand? To print a document that you dont have in your hands, find it on your computer. When you find the document you want to print on the computer, click on "file" in the upper left side corner of your computer screen and slide down to "print" and click on it. Then click on "ok" on the next screen to start printing your document.

If there is no "file" command in the upper left corner of your computer screen when you have the document that you want to print open on the computer - try right clicking with the button on the right side of your mouse in the center of the document and find the "print" command on the drop down list and click on it. Then click on "ok" on the next screen and this will start the printing of your document.

Hope this helps? Good luck!

How to print a regular document from Microsoft Word, Excel.

Instead of pressing the start button to print, you need to press the small ON/OFF button. The start button works to copy/scan. But to print, you will need to turn the printer on first. Once the printer is on, the computer should recognize it fine and allow you to print from your applications.

Not Printing

The copy function works fine because the printer alone is handling the copy. When you print, you need two machines to get their stories straight. Is your printer turned on before the machine boots up? or is the printer turned on after the machine has booted? Sometimes Windows won't load all the drivers needed if it doesn't detect a device during bootup. You may want to download the latest and greatest drivers from the HP site, uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
