Getting lines to line up

Hi, if the green isn't straight to begin with you will need to go into the convergence sub menu and align it there code is 062597 status then follow the instructions to adjust the green first, then red , then blue multipoint and save it.
pressing menu to switch arrows to move/adjust status to back up , make sure to scroll down to save multipoint before exiting, power off when done.
If any color will not move or is more than 1 inch out of adjustment you may need to check the resistors to that convergence color .

Hi

I hope after replacing the IC’s you also cleaned your solder points with the alcohol. Many people have also had blown resistors requiring replacement. About the IC's- If one is shot the other one is not far away and for that little price of the chips it worth changing them both at the same time. Also the convergence board should be checked for cracked solder. If you replace the ICs and the resistors are shot, the ICs may blow again almost immediately, meaning you may have to do the repair twice. If you have done the repair and know that it was done correctly then it means it is definitely the remote issue and unfortunately you’ll require a Philips Remote.
