How do I download a drive for my laserjet 4050? I

1. Setup the printer with the router via network cable (This model is not wireless) on DHCP. The router should see the printer as a IP address on the web admin.
2. Next re-install or configure the printer via a network connection and IP.

Go to HP website and download new drivers for your printer.

The 82.XX error represents that the External Card which is located in the formatter of the machine, either is bad or the port in the formatter is bad (This could be a Network Card or a Hard Drive really depends on your machine.)
Recommended Solutions:
Please make sure you turn off the machine before removing the card!

Remove the card from EIO slot 2 and plug it into the EIO Slot 1 is the card still does not work then the card will need to be replaced.

If both the EIO slots do not recognize the card. It's most likely the card, however it could also be the formatter.

To use a printer DIRECTLY into your PC or laptop (without plugging both into a network hib, or switch), you need to use a CROSSOVER patch cable.

reinstall the drivers

Check your driver settings. Make sure the number of copies is set at 1 copie.

Open tray 1
remove the pick up roller
pad is located under the roller
in the front center of the pad is a small notch
inset a small screwdriver or key something small and flat.
give it a twist and the pad should pop out.
install the new pad by aligning with the holes and push down should sort of snap into place.
Reinstall pick up roller

Unplug printer cable.
turn off
turn back on and wait for READY
turn off
connect printer cable
turn on

scanner should not be connected to anything but the computer.
Did you have the software disk for the scanner?
