The radio has to be turned on, then press the button the looks like an almost full circle with a dot in the middle. Then you can see which of the 1-6 radio buttons to push to set the time. Or check your owner's manual.
Is the engine running hot or overheating? This could cause that to happen. If it's not running hot check your timing. If the timing is on time try advancing it 1 or 2 degrees. Somwtimes slack in the chain from wear will put it off time. Hope this helps.
You need spark, fuel, timming and compresion to make any car run. You say you have spark and fuel, but is the timming correct? double check to make sure that the dist is not out by 180degr. Also some times on a fresh motor, the rings may not be sealing yet. Put a very small amount of oil in each plug hole to help seal for compresion.
