To some degree it is normal and some manufactors are worst then others, pay attention to it and if it get worst you should replace it, i would also backup any files you made need.

When putting in Forza Motorsport 3 the console makes a lound noise, like the fan is on overtime when reading disc a lot louder than other games. Tried other games after and just low hum. Is it the...

Likely that for some reason the Xbox is having a hard time reading the disc and it is spinning the drive trying to search for files on the disk. If you aren't having the same issue with other games then recommend to resolve this issue then simply install the game onto your hard drive and the game will then only need to be accessed for verification only and the game will be played off your hard drive and not your disk drive. Here are the instructions for insalling a game to your hard drive:
Install Xbox 360 games on your hard drive from a game disc Note Installing an Xbox 360 game on a hard drive requires between 4 and 8 gigabytes (GB) of free disc space.
  1. Insert the game disc into the disc drive.

Note After you insert the disc, the default option is to automatically start the game. If the game starts, exit the game, and return to the Xbox Dashboard.

  2. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to My Xbox.
  3. Select the game you want to install.
  4. Press Y on your controller.
  5. Select Install to Hard Drive.

A progress indicator appears while your game is being installed on your hard drive.
  • Installing an Xbox 360 game might take several minutes.
  • Multidisc game? Install each disc to your hard drive.
Play a game from your hard drive
  1. Insert the game disc into the disc drive.
  2. Go to My Xbox, and select the name of the game you want to play.
Note The game disc must be in the disc drive, even though you have installed the game on your hard drive. The console will automatically play the game from your hard drive, but the disc has to be present.

I have Ibanez gsr200 bass guitar , yesterday and today I noticed that my bass's voice is irregular , please help me how to solve it , It's a new bass , Thanks

No question what to do... take it in under warranty since it is new !!!

You may find that there is a problem with your amp... the seller should be able to test the guitar and demonstrate normal sound for you.

Many users have TOO small of an amp and the distortions make it appear that the guitar is bad... I suspect you will want at least a 12 inch speaker and preferably a 15 inch for your bass.

When low frequency signals drive a speaker too hard it drives the voicecoil out of the linear range and the sound will be irregular..

What is the normal noise for Samsung HDD

You should hear a low humming and some electronic beeping. If you're hearing a mechanical clicking or clinging or anything that sounds like metal bumping around in there, it's toast. I'm sorry but there are not mechanical parts in there, just electric motors, electromagnetic actuators and circuitry. While it's off, shake it. If you hear something rattling around, I'm sorry to say that it's done. Does it still work? what are you trying to accomplish?

I placed a DVD into the recorder /player began to vibrate & noise

I have had this kind problem before on some dvd players. I don't think there is anything wrong as such it seems you have a noisy disc motor.
My solution to this is to squirt a little WD40 where the spindle shaft goes through the motor. Don't squirt too much or it will get messy. I think you'll find this will help! (:-)

My new acer aspire tower has an anoying hum. Is this normal?

Hi Rick,

Ideally there will be some amount of noise emanating from any system, so its normal. The noise factor can be attributed to various components within your tower. Typical components that generate noise are:

CPU Fan - It usually runs at a speed of 1500 rpm
Hard Drive - There are circular metallic discs in the hard drive which run at a speed of about 7200 rpm for normal hard drives
Video Card Fan (if there is one)
SMPS/Power Supply fan

However, if the noise is very audible then you can try the following:

- Ensure that your tower is kept on a flat surface
- There are no obstructions around the power supply fan (found at the back of your tower)
- Power supply provided is proper and coming through a spike buster

If you feel that the noise level is high, then I would recommend contacting Acer support as it may be a problem with one of the fans or the way your motherboard has been fixed within the tower.

My dvd player is making a loud humming sound when i load up a dvd. it is the phillips dvp5960

Does the DVD player still work, even though it's making the humming noise?
The humming noise may just be normal for that machine. Turn your TV up louder .
If the player doesn't work, the drive is broken, and you would have to send it to Phillips if your warranty is still working. If the Player still works, check to see if the disc is warped or cracked, this'll make the drive unstable, and make the noise.

Hope my answer helped :)
