SOURCE: Red Line

I was just looking at Samsung's site regarding this issue. It is most likely a line of dead pixels. Direct from their site: "The thin red, green, blue, white, black, or yellow line you see running through your LCD monitor is most likely a line of dead pixels. To fix this problem, you will have to get your monitor serviced or, if the monitor is new, replaced. To set up a service appointment, contact Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-Samsung (1-800-726-7864). Have your monitor's model number and serial number on hand when you call."

SOURCE: SyncMaster 920n Monitor 1 1/2" greeen colour vertical bar

this discoloration problem occurs commonly in every1 s pc ... this problem occurs due to the nearby magnetic field emitting appliances just like speakers... so what u have to do is u must keep some gap with the speakers from the monitors & after that press menu button on ur monitor and give degauss.... this will solve your problem....

SOURCE: green line vertical on screen keeps appearing

in the monitor menu button you will be having a option called "degauss" give that when it appears ...

if you still persist the same problem then there may be some problem in the CRT tube ....

just take your monitor to the technician ...

Plasma tv connections

What you need is a device called a multi-switch. Here's a page which details some of the switches available with different satellite setups. You would hook up your sat recievers, your TV and your recorder up to the multiswitch:

I can not have my xbox 360 video show up on a pioneer plasma display AXD1460 tv

Do you want to just directly hook up the 360 to the TV? If so, check to make sure your TV supports component cables, which are color coded red, blue, and green.

If it's a recently purchased tv (maybe no later than say 4 years ago), it should support it.

Simply connect the cables to their respective inputs based on the matching colors.

Since it's going to be directly connected to the TV, change the Input using your remote to Component. (This button's usually located near the bottom or middle of your remote control.) Hope that helps, sort of :/ wish I had a clearer picture of the back of your TV so I can see what I'm dealing with lol.

Thin red line in middle of screen on nec 42 inch plasma monitor

I had the same problem -red, vertical bars along the right side of my Samsung 42" Plasma- and this is what fixed it: Removed unterminated cable.
I had hooked up an HD video camera to the set about two weeks ago. While I disconnected the camera I left the other end of the connector cable plugged into the T.V.. As I've since learned from friends who work in television, this is what's called an "unterminated cable" -meaning one end is unconnected. It can lead to problems with electrical interference and appears to have been the problem in this case; When I disconnected this cable from the T.V. the red bars went away.
So, check your cables. Make sure everything is properly connected and get rid of anything that might be picking up interference.

Can't get picture

Hello matthew95765,
The TV is working, the message is coming from the dish box. What you need to do is to determine if the dish box is connected to the dish and that it has signal at the box, because the message it is delivering to the TV is that it is not receiving signal from the satellite. so you have to check the connection at the satellite and at the box because those are the only point that can generate the error you are getting.
I hope this helps,
Thank you,
