I have a u-line ice maker/frig which I keep outdoors. The frig temp is between 60 and 70 degrees. It appears to make ice but may have slowed down the last day. I checked the seal and it appears to be on and definetely not cracked. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
check timer(timer can be anywhere, inside or out by compressor or behind toe kick it has 5-6 wires and a 1/4 inch hole with a flat screw head in it. use flat screw driver, turn it until it clicks...it will turn one way only...that should put in defrost and in 30 minutes or less the timer should turn compressor back on if not replace timer...when it is in defrost se if element works if not ...check element with meter...also termination switch...open above 32degreeFclose under 32 don't damage coils

There is a small ledge container on the back wall of the fridge which extends across almost the full width and this is full of frozen water. Water now leaks out from botom of fridge. I am presuming the hose that drains this container comes from that ledge container. Also the container on the back of the fridge (on top of the compressor) is totally dry. I am presuming that this is the cycling part of the defrosting process. The fridge seems to work quite well other than that. Any clues? Or can you tell me how the defrost process in these works?
